Is there something about your appearance you have thought about changing for years rather than months? Have you reached the point where creams, sessions, and gym work have taken you as far as they can? Cosmetic surgery covers the procedures that change structure rather than surface, from reshaping a nose or removing excess eyelid skin through to breast surgery and body contouring. It is also the area of aesthetics where the decision matters far more than the technique, and where choosing the wrong surgeon carries consequences that no amount of money fixes afterwards. At Reborn Skin and Hair Clinic, Bangalore, we offer both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures for men and women across the city. Patients come to us from Indiranagar, Koramangala, Whitefield, HSR Layout, Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Marathahalli, Malleshwaram, Electronic City, Bannerghatta Road, Hebbal, and Yelahanka. This page spends most of its length on how to choose safely and how to read a quote, because those two things protect you more than any list of procedures.

Prices mentioned are indicative and may vary based on individual condition and treatment plan. Final pricing confirmed after consultation. EMI available.
What Affects the Cost?
What the starting figure means. ₹10,000 is the entry point for non-surgical procedures such as injectable treatments. Surgical procedures are quoted individually and sit considerably higher, with the surgeon’s fee, anaesthesia, and facility charges each priced separately. You will be given a single written all-inclusive total for your specific procedure at consultation rather than a headline number that grows later.
Easy EMI Options Available – Zero-interest EMI plans available on select packages.
No Hidden Charges, Ever – All prices include consultation, sessions, and post-care guidance.
When considering the cosmetic surgery cost near me, we offer transparent, customized pricing with no hidden charges.

People use them interchangeably and they mean slightly different things, which matters when you are checking someone’s credentials.
Plastic surgery is the broader surgical specialty. It covers reconstruction after injury, burns, cancer, and congenital conditions, as well as aesthetic work. A plastic surgeon completes years of specialist surgical training and examination.
Cosmetic surgery is the elective, appearance-driven subset. Improving the shape of a nose, lifting an eyelid, or reducing a tummy are cosmetic procedures whether they are performed by a plastic surgeon, a maxillofacial surgeon, or another trained specialist working within their scope.
Why the distinction matters to you. “Cosmetic surgeon” is not a protected specialist qualification in the way that plastic surgery is. The title on a clinic door tells you less than the training behind it, which is why the next section exists.
Rhinoplasty and nasal reshaping, upper and lower eyelid surgery, brow lift, face and neck lift, chin augmentation and genioplasty, cheek augmentation, buccal fat correction, ear correction, dimple creation, and facial scar revision.
Breast augmentation with implants or fat transfer, breast lift, breast reduction, and male breast reduction for gynecomastia.
Liposuction, tummy tuck, arm lift, thigh lift, buttock augmentation by fat transfer or implant, and fat grafting.
Injectable muscle relaxation, dermal fillers, lip enhancement, thread lifting, injectable fat reduction, and skin tightening, for people who want change without an operation or who are not ready for one.
Several operations performed in one sitting means one anaesthetic and one recovery, and it is often more sensible than staging them. It also means a longer operation, so fitness for anaesthesia is assessed carefully before combining anything.
If you take one thing from this page, take this list. It applies wherever you go, including elsewhere.
Ask what their actual qualification is. Not their job title, their degree and specialist training. Ask which procedure they are trained in and how often they perform it. A surgeon who does your procedure regularly is a different proposition from one who does it occasionally.
Ask to see their registration. Every practising doctor in India is registered with a State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission. Registration is verifiable, and any surgeon should be entirely comfortable with you checking.
Ask where the surgery will happen. Major procedures under general anaesthesia belong in a properly equipped facility with anaesthetic support, monitoring, resuscitation equipment, and a plan for complications. Minor procedures under local anaesthetic can be done in a clinic setting. A large operation offered in an unequipped room is the single clearest warning sign there is.
Ask who gives the anaesthetic. For anything under general anaesthesia or sedation, a qualified anaesthetist should be present and responsible for you throughout.
Ask to see results on patients like you. Same procedure, similar starting anatomy, similar skin tone, photographed at consistent angles and lighting. Heavily filtered images and results on entirely different anatomy tell you nothing useful.
Ask what happens if something goes wrong. Who reviews you, at what cost, and what the revision policy is. This needs answering in writing before you book, not afterwards.
Ask what they would advise against. A surgeon who has never talked a patient out of a procedure is not assessing carefully enough.
Be cautious about price-led decisions. A quote well below everything else usually means something has been left out of it, or corners are being cut somewhere you cannot see. This is one of the few purchases where the lowest quote carries the most risk.
Be cautious about packages abroad. Surgery booked as a travel package often comes with no realistic plan for follow-up, and complications tend to appear after you have flown home. Whoever operates on you should be reachable afterwards.
A doctor examines the area concerned, assesses the underlying structure, skin quality, and proportion relative to the rest of your face or body, and identifies whether your concern is structural, volume-related, or skin-related. Your full medical history, medicines, allergies, smoking status, previous surgery, and any previous injectable or implant are recorded. Photographs are taken from set angles. You are then told which procedures would address your concern, what each realistically achieves, what it does not, and the full cost in writing.
Blood tests, physician clearance, and a fitness assessment are arranged for surgical procedures, with imaging where indicated. You will be asked to stop smoking well in advance. Blood thinners and supplements are reviewed, and any medicine affecting clotting is managed with the doctor who prescribed it. You are given written pre-operative instructions, fitted for any garment needed, and told exactly what to arrange at home.
Minor procedures are performed under local anaesthetic in a clinic setting. Larger procedures are performed under sedation or general anaesthesia in a properly equipped facility with an anaesthetist present throughout. Markings are made with you sitting or standing as appropriate before any anaesthetic is given, and you are shown them.
30 minutes for minor procedures, 1 to 4 hours for most surgical procedures, longer for combined operations.
None for non-surgical and minor procedures. Day case or one night for most surgery, longer for major body procedures.
Non-surgical results are immediate or build over weeks. Surgical results are visible early but swollen, settle substantially by 6 weeks, and are judged properly at 3 to 6 months.
Bait-and-switch quoting is common in this industry. A complete written quote should name every one of these.
If a quote you are given elsewhere covers only the first line, it is not a quote. Ask for the rest before you compare it with anything.
A meaningful number of people who come in asking for an operation are better served by something smaller, and we would rather say so.
Volume loss is usually not a surgical problem. A face that looks tired and flat from the thirties onwards has often lost volume rather than developed excess skin. Filler or fat grafting addresses that, and a lift performed on a deflated face can look pulled rather than refreshed.
Fat that you can pinch has non-surgical options. Controlled cooling and injectable fat reduction handle modest pockets without incisions. Where the volume is larger, liposuction does more in one procedure and often costs less overall.
A weak chin changes a profile more than a nose does. A great many people considering rhinoplasty find that chin augmentation, alone or alongside a smaller nasal correction, balances their profile better.
Some things genuinely need surgery. Excess skin that hangs, eyelid skin resting on the lashes, a nose whose structure you want changed, breasts that have descended, and a tummy with separated muscles after pregnancy are all structural problems. No device, cream, or session corrects them, and being told that honestly saves years of spending.
How we decide. By examining you and telling you which category you fall into, then explaining what each route would and would not achieve.
Critical Safety Note : Declare every medicine and supplement including blood thinners, aspirin, hormonal contraception, and hormone therapy. Declare diabetes, heart or lung conditions, high blood pressure, anaemia, thyroid disease, any bleeding or clotting disorder, and any history of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism in you or your family. Declare any allergy, particularly to anaesthetic agents, antibiotics, or latex. Declare any previous surgery, implant, filler, thread, or injected material, including anything received outside a clinic. Smoking must stop, and being honest about it protects you rather than the surgeon.
Being declined is a normal and useful outcome, and these are the circumstances where it happens.
The most common complaint after cosmetic surgery is not the result. It is that nobody explained the first fortnight properly.
Swelling outlasts everyone’s expectations. Most facial procedures look swollen and unfamiliar for two to three weeks and settle properly over three months. Body procedures swell for longer. The result you judge at week two is not the result.
Time off work is real. Minor procedures under local anaesthetic need a few days. Eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, and breast surgery typically need one to two weeks. Tummy tuck and combined body procedures need considerably longer, with restrictions on lifting for six weeks.
Compression garments are part of the treatment. After liposuction and body contouring, the garment shapes the result while tissue settles. Not wearing it changes the outcome.
Help at home matters. For anything larger than a minor procedure, arrange someone to be with you for the first night and to help for the first few days.
Bruising is unpredictable. Plan around social and work commitments rather than assuming you will be presentable by a set date.
Numbness is normal and slow. Altered sensation after facial and body surgery recovers over weeks to months in most people.

Plastic surgery is the broader surgical specialty covering reconstruction after injury, burns, cancer, and congenital conditions as well as aesthetic work, and it requires years of specialist training and examination. Cosmetic surgery is the elective, appearance-driven subset. The distinction matters because "cosmetic surgeon" is not a protected specialist qualification in the way plastic surgery is.
Ask for their actual degree and specialist training rather than their job title, ask how often they perform your specific procedure, and ask to see their State Medical Council or National Medical Commission registration, which is verifiable. Also ask where the surgery will take place, who administers the anaesthetic, and what the revision policy is. Any qualified surgeon will answer all of these comfortably.
Surgeon's fee, anaesthesia charges, facility or theatre charges, implant or material costs with a named manufacturer, hospital stay, pre-operative investigations, compression garments and dressings, the number of follow-up visits included, and the revision policy. A quote listing only the surgeon's fee is not a quote, and it cannot be meaningfully compared with a complete one.
Usually because something has been left out, or because costs are being reduced somewhere you cannot see, such as the facility, the anaesthetic cover, or the implant used. Surgery is one of the few purchases where the lowest quote carries the most risk. Ask for a complete itemised quote before comparing anything on price.
It depends on whether your concern is structural. Volume loss, modest pinchable fat, and mild skin laxity often respond well to non-surgical treatment. Excess skin that hangs, eyelid skin resting on the lashes, nasal structure, descended breasts, and separated abdominal muscles after pregnancy are structural and need surgery. A proper examination tells you which you have.
Minor procedures under local anaesthetic need a few days. Eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, and breast surgery typically need one to two weeks off work. Tummy tuck and combined body procedures need considerably longer, with lifting restrictions for six weeks. Swelling outlasts most people's expectations, settling substantially by six weeks with the final result at three to six months.
The main problem is follow-up. Complications tend to appear after you have flown home, and package arrangements often have no realistic plan for reviewing you or managing a problem. Whoever operates on you should be reachable afterwards. If you are considering this, ask specifically what happens if something goes wrong once you are back.
Often yes, and combining them means one anaesthetic and one recovery period rather than two. It also means a longer operation, so fitness for anaesthesia is assessed carefully before anything is combined. Your surgeon will advise which combinations are sensible for you and which are better staged.
Regularly, and it is a normal part of a good consultation. We decline where the concern is not visible to others and distress is out of proportion, where expectations do not match anatomy, where timing follows acute personal upheaval, where weight is still changing, where smoking has not stopped, or where medical fitness needs addressing first. There is no urgency with elective surgery.
